State Coordinators
State Coordinator Program & Local Detachments
The U.S. Army Auxiliary Activation Project is expanding nationwide by establishing local, in-person gatherings to build real momentum and organization across the country.
Supporters from each state will begin meeting informally to discuss the mission, connect with each other, and begin building the foundation of a future U.S. Army Auxiliary.
Purpose of Local Meetings
Local meetings are designed to:
-
Build real-world relationships between supporters
-
Establish organized local participation
-
Identify individuals willing to take action beyond online support
-
Strengthen the nationwide movement through local engagement
These meetings are informal and may be held at coffee shops, restaurants, libraries, or other public locations arranged by the local coordinator.
Detachment Naming Structure
At this stage, local groups will be referred to as Detachments, preceded by their location.
Examples include:
-
Florida Detachment
-
Puerto Rico Detachment
-
Texas Detachment
Detachments are informal local groups and are not official military units. Once the U.S. Army Auxiliary is authorized, formal unit naming and structure may be established.
State Coordinator Appointments
To support local organization, the project is appointing State Coordinators to coordinate activities within their state or region.
State Coordinators are responsible for:
-
Coordinating local meetings
-
Organizing communication between local supporters
-
Helping establish early organizational structure
-
Reporting activity updates to National HQ
State Coordinators should have leadership experience and the ability to organize and coordinate groups. All State Coordinators are appointed by the National Administrator.
National Participation by Zoom
National leadership may join local meetings by Zoom or similar video platform to speak with members, answer questions, and strengthen coordination across the country.
Nationwide Ham Radio Communications Group
The project is also establishing a nationwide ham radio communications group to support preparedness and nationwide connectivity. Scheduled practice nets and check-ins will be used to build communication capability and unity among members.
Detachment Apparel
If you attend a meeting, you are encouraged (but not required) to wear a black in color Army Auxiliary polo shirt with some form of khaki trousers. They can be tactical style trousers or something more casual.
Supporters may order official apparel through our store at:
https://serviceoutfitters.us/products/army-auxiliary-activation-project-polo?variant=47288615895276
Detachment-specific shirts and polos may also be created based on local participation and demand.
